About

Check out our Easter Update!

The Church in Izmail sprang up in the late 1990s through co-mission evangelism and later MTW church planting work.

Andrei and his family serve the church and, in addition to the regular worship service and Bible studies, they deliver humanitarian supplies and share the gospel monthly with community members and displaced persons as a true testament to God’s love and care to them.

Above all else, pray that God will bless his work and fill their hearts with his joy and peace while they serve him, that they would not grow tired of doing good even in these difficulties of war.

Updated for June 2026

Pray for

  • The continued building project for our church.  We are trying to get enough funds together to complete the restoration of the roof.
  • The organization of the Elders and Deacons in their labours, that the Lord would give them wisdom, direction, and energy, and bless the work of their hands.
  • Us as we plan a children’s camp for mid-summer.  We will go to a Christian outdoor camp ground near the sea.  Pray that God will be preparing the hearts of the children and staff and that he will be preparing a safe and meaningful time for them for them to know more deeply God’s great love for them. Pray also that he will send us helpers for the camp.
  • God to continue to protect our city – Izmail from drones, missiles, and bombs.

Praise for

  • As always – your support, help, and prayers for us in this difficult time for our city. We especially feel God’s protection and mercy as news of your prayers gives us priceless encouragement and enables us to continue in our ministry.
  • God’s protection – despite the numerous shelling by the Shahids, all parishioners remained alive and safe. What a great testimony of God’s protection.
