Izmail Presbyterian

About

The Church in Izmail sprang up in the late 1990s through co-mission evangelism and later MTW church planting work.

Andrei and his family serve the church and, in addition to the regular worship service and Bible studies, they deliver humanitarian supplies and share the gospel monthly with community members and displaced persons as a true testament to God’s love and care to them.

Above all else, pray that God will bless his work and fill their hearts with his joy and peace while they serve him, that they would not grow tired of doing good even in these difficulties of war.

Pray for

  • God to preserve our city and our church to keep us safe from missiles and attacks.
  • God to equip the church as we help our parishoners and community with food and other nescesarry items.
  • God to give us the strength and ability to expand and continue our humanitarian help
  • Andrey, one of our soldiers who is missing in action. Pray that God would protect his life, bring news of his whereabouts, and help him return safely to his family.
  • The electrical supply problems to be resolved and for us to get a generator for backup power.
  • The work to continue on our church building project; it is hard to find workers and funds to complete all the work.

Praise for

  • The warmer weather and brighter days – it has eased some of the difficulties of winter.
  • Your prayers for us that also support and warm us with your love, may God bless you.
