About

Check out our Spotlight to learn more about our church.
The Church in Mykolaiv is small, but working hard for the kingdom. Located near Kherson and near the front lines, the church uses all of its time and resources to deliver humanitarian aid to surrounding villages and also share the hope of Christ with them.

Since Kherson Church currently doesn’t have a pastor, Andrii travels the one hour journey to Kherson on roads that are full of potholes from shelling and on which a can quickly come into the line of fire or become a target for a drone.

While many of the church members who were in the church before the war are gone, the church has gained new members who now come to worship at this, their closest church or before they move on from Mykolaiv to greater safety in the West.

Pray for

  • Safety. The road between Kyerson and Mykolaiv is becoming more and more dangerous with drones even flyhing under the protective nets to attack cars. Pastor Andriy travels this road twice a month to preach in Kherson.
  • The new people attending, that they will be ministered to by the Word and the congregation and might find a spiritual home in our church.
  • Upcoming Mercy Ministry trips to Snihurivka and Shevchenkove. Pray that in addition to the physical help, that our message of Christ’s love will be heard and recieved.  Pray for us as we work to create a better forum to distribute Christ’s Hope on our trips.

Praise for

  • God’s great love and mercy towards us, which he shows is through his Son.
  • The opportunity to meet for worship, to bear witness to God’s faithfulness and to help others in the name of Christ.
  • Praise for a new member, Tanya, who completed all of the membership classes and is already actively serving in the church. Other new people have also started coming.
  • The women’s ministry which actively continues to meet, fellowship, and fgrow together.
