The Church in Zaporizhzhia is a church plant right in the middle of an active war zone. While there was a larger group before the full-scale invasion, this community of believers now just has two families. They meet together for prayer and join the Kharkiv church online to worship. When Pastor Serheii is able, he travels from Kharkiv to minister to them.

You have probably heard of Zaporizhzhia in the news due to the nuclear power plant. This city is very much in the line of fire and needs the prayers of the saints to encourage the believers, to give wisdom to the leaders, and to ask God’s preserving hand to protect them.

Pray for

Safety – the attacks are frequent and terrifying – there is no place to go for safety. Pray that God would protect us, the Defenders, our families, and help us through the physical stress response and anxiety we feel in the aftermath.
A lasting and just peace
Wisdom and provision as we prepare for winter.
For God to take care of our present and out future and give us spiritual and emotional rest in the midst of war.

Praise for

Our lives and our homes are protected! Praise God!
Being protected so far – for the safety of our children and grandchildren.
For the faithfulness of God, who sustains us and has ensured us everlasting life and forgiveness of sins through the death and resurrection of his son, Jesus Christ.
