The Church in Karlivka has a weekly Sunday service and sermon, as well as a ministry of mercy: we help refugees from conflict zones, provide targeted assistance to large families, and elderly people living alone.

The Church hosts a children’s evangelistic ministry called “The Samaritan Bag. We have house-group Bible studies and we conduct seminars for the enlightenment of the church and the blessing of the larger community. We study our Presbyterian and Reformed confessional documents to encourage people to learn and think more deeply so that they can stand confidently in their faith.

Pray for

The church leaders and their ability to actively serve the church.
The weather to hold as we work to add insulation to the outside of the church and that we would be able to move to the building and begin formally using it by December.
The continued project of privatizing the land on which the church is built in order to normalize our ownership.
A family in our church who serves as a foster home-pray that God will provide their needs and give them wisdom, love, and patience for the children they home.
The spiritual growth of our church members.
The growth and fruitfulness of our house groups and the men’s and women’s ministries
God to protect us, to bless our ministry activities, and for the renewal of energy supplies.

Praise for

Being able to help a foster family get bunkbeds and mattresses for their children in coordination with MTW and the Seminary.
The repaired and functioning church van! We are again able to get people to and from services. This is an important ministry to the many elderly and those who live farther away from our church.
Your prayers and financial donations – with which MTW was able to help us get a power station generator. After the increased attacks, electricity has been limited. It will now be able to be a back-up power supply and we will be able to run our heat pumos and keep the building warm even if there isn’t electricity.
The re-launch of our children’s ministry. Pray for those who are serving and also for the parents to support the important work of teaching our children the wonders and great love of our saviour.
