• From the beginning of Ocrtober, russia has substantially increased their aerial attacks across Ukraine, bust primarily on Kyiv. These are direct attacks on civilians. The energy infrastructure, DIY Stores, Schools, and Hospitals that are being eradicated are parts of civilian infrastructure. In recent days, children have been killed while at play parks, while crossing the roads, and while sleeping at home. 13 people were killed while waiting to board a train. We pray for God to see the injustice and have mercy on Ukraine.
• From the beginning of October, the US executive branch has made or sponsored unilateral actions that have directly aided russia in the war effort. Most significantly is the lifting of sanctions, counter to the congressionally passed Lindsey Graham Bill and to establish American and international laws on sanctions.  Further to this, they limited Ukraine’s ability to use starlink terminals for their defense, leading to 3 nights of horrendous destruction across Ukraine, but especially in Kyiv. Pray that the leaders of the world would seek righteousness over self-enrichment.
• The Kherson church continues to prepare for evacuation. It is almost impossible to go outside without being targeted by a drone. Many do not want to leave their homes – the terror of the unknown without housing and income is as great as the daily terror of russian attacks. Pray that they would have wisdom, courage, and support from the other churches.
• Non-stop missile and drone attacks have terrorized cities across the country, many of our churches are feeling tired and overwhelmed from the stress and lack of sleep. Many have only a few hours of electricity and or water. The water is not always drinkable and so drinking water must be fetched or prepared. Pray for God’s strength and peace.
• Ukrainians are increasingly worried about winter and there could be a second wave of refugees and displaced peoples. Pray for God to provide for their needs.
• Ukraine has continued to effectively strike military targets deep within russia. The average russian cannot buy gas for their cars due to Ukrainian strikes on the oil refineries. This has been very encouraging, and we continue to give thanks for Ukraine’s gains on the battlefield, which outpace russia.
• We pray for the Government of Ukraine to have wisdom, humility, and to work honestly for the good of their country.
• We daily give thanks for God’s mercy and protection of our lives.
• Continue to pray for the safety of our church members, their homes, and church buildings. You may be hearing about the war less, but the enemy is attacking us, and especially civilian targets, more and with larger missiles to try to break our spirits.
• Pray for the spiritual encouragement of our members, that they will not become despondent and will continue to trust in the Faithfulness of our Lord.
• Continue to pray for the workers repairing the electricity and heating infrastructure and the rescue workers who are responsible for getting people out from buried rubble.  These responders work at risk of their own lives due to how russia often attacks a second time after the first strike to deliberately kill these workers.
• Pray for God to end the war in Ukraine, grow His Church, and give great faith and a sense of security to His people during this time of suffering. 
• Pray for the churches, who do not sit static and suffering, but are planning and building their ministries despite the onslaught of war.
• Pray for the Evangelical Presbyterian Church of Ukraine as they receive and distribute aid and minister to those in need, including those who are severely wounded or who have lost loved ones or are destitute and displaced due to the war.
• Protection and safety for the Ukrainian people, including our brothers and sisters in Christ, churches, and missionaries and the chaplains serving on the front lines.
• Pray for the missing, that they would be found, delivered if they are imprisoned, and that their family members would be comforted.
• For supplies and funds for Crates 5.0. May the Lord use Crates for Ukraine to create pathways for the Gospel and the formation of new Gospel communities.
