About

The Church in Karlivka has a weekly Sunday service and sermon, as well as a ministry of mercy: we help refugees from conflict zones, provide targeted assistance to large families, and elderly people living alone.

The Church hosts a children’s evangelistic ministry called “The Samaritan Bag. We have house-group Bible studies and we conduct seminars for the enlightenment of the church and the blessing of the larger community. We study our Presbyterian and Reformed confessional documents to encourage people to learn and think more deeply so that they can stand confidently in their faith.

Pray for

  • A kingdom impact of “The Greatest Journey” on the hearts of the children who attended the camp and for those who aren’t a part of the church to be brought to Christ with their families.
  • The teenagers in our church who have graduated from High School this year and plan to continue their studies.  Pray that they will be able to get into their desired University program and that they might learn and work to the Glory of God.
  • God to provide a way for us to finish our church building project.  The lack of workers and scarcity of supplies have driven costs well beyond our budget.  We also have not resolved the privatization problem.
  • The spiritual growth of the church and the creation of more house groups and for ministries engaging and growing both the men and the women.

Praise for

  • Your prayers: they mean a great deal to us!
  • Our children’s program – “The Greatest Journey”  had a good turnout and is progressing well. Pray for seeds to be planted and lives to be changed.
  • God providing us with helpers and leaders enough to host the camp.
  • God keeping as safe and enabling us to continue working for Him.
