The Church in Karlivka has a weekly Sunday service and sermon, as well as a ministry of mercy: we help refugees from conflict zones, provide targeted assistance to large families, and elderly people living alone.

The Church hosts a children’s evangelistic ministry called “The Samaritan Bag. We have house-group Bible studies and we conduct seminars for the enlightenment of the church and the blessing of the larger community. We study our Presbyterian and Reformed confessional documents to encourage people to learn and think more deeply so that they can stand confidently in their faith.

Pray for

The continued work of getting the church building and land privatized and fully under the ownership of the church. Under communism, no private ownership was allowed, and the process of reclaiming the land is very difficult.
Our building project, we currently don’t have funds to pay for the materials needed and for the work that needs to be done. We also don’t have a reliable construction overseer who can make sure that everything is done properly.
Us to be able to get our church bus repaired. It has broken down and is needed to help bring people to church and to make humanitarian deliveries or travel for church projects.

Praise for

Being able to carry out “The Greatest Journey” youth evangelization project. Children who completed the program received a gift. We are especially thankful for God giving us workers – Alla, Natalia, Olena, Ildar, and Aurora.
Finally being able to get the church connected to city water and sewage lines!
