Kyiv - Big City
Worship outside, summer 2024

About

Big City is the second Presbyterian church established in Kyiv. It was originally planted in the Solomianskyi Region of the city but is now meeting in the Seminary building at Holosiivskyi.

Big City Church is currently without a pastor. The majority of their leadership, as well as many who were in seminary to study for the pastorate, have been drafted and are unable to serve their church while they are serving their country. They have also lost many members who fled the country or who moved to be close to their spouse on the front line. Still, they continue to meet on Sundays to worship and Holy Trinity’s Pastor, Ivan Bespalov, serves by administering the sacraments.

The congregation feels very worn, but strives to live faithfully and testify to Christ’s goodness.
