Redeemer is a church-planting work that began the summer right before COVID hit. While it never reached a critical mass to begin services, it did collect a faithful group of believers for fellowship, prayer, and Bible Study each week.
When the full-scale war began, many of our faithful fled to other countries. In order to encourage one another, the group continues to meet on-line via zoom and in a hybrid in-person/online format when the Rev. Alister Torrens is in the country (around 20 Sundays throughout the year). Men who are eligible for the draft try not to be out on the streets much, and so the online gathering remains an important part of fellowship, even when an in-person option is available. Our members who fled the country also appreciate being able to worship in their native language.

Pray for
Alister’s safe trip in May and June and for everyone to be able to meet together
The safety of members, friends, and family who are serving and for courage and hope for their families left at home.
Praise for
An improvement in the electricity supply and warmer weather so heating isn’t needed
